What to Wear ?
Try to keep your clothes simple and comfortable. Select styles that are not too colorful and that will not distract attention away from you.
- Men generally choose to wear dark trousers (only required for casual photos) and a dress shirt and tie under their gowns.
- Women generally wear a lightweight dress or skirt and blouse. We RECOMMEND that ladies wear v-necks for their sitting.
Re: GLASSES : If you wear glasses it is strongly recommended that you either borrow a pair of empty frames from an optician,or have the lenses removed from your own glasses, since this will eliminate optical facial distortion as well as harsh reflections. The results are well worth the extra little effort!
Makeup & Hair?
If you are going to get a new haircut or style, DO NOT get it right before the photo session, instead either plan for it in advance, or simply select a style that you know looks good on you. Apply makeup sparingly, and you don't have to put too much on; same amount as you would put on when going out on a special night. Make sure you bring your make up kit, hairbrush and hair accessories to the photo session, in case quick touch ups are needed.
MAKE SURE THAT YOUGET ENOUGH REST THE NIGHT BEFORE YOUR PORTRAIT SESSION, SINCE NO AMOUNT OFMAKE-UP OR RETOUCHING CAN AWAKEN A DROWSY FACE !
Face & Retouching?
First of all DO NOT worry too much. If you have any blemishes or spots on the skin use a conceal er and or powder to cover as much of it as possible. Portrait retouching, however, is included in your package and will eliminate any flaws that may exist.
Guys, It is recommended that you shave before your photo session; if you wear a beard, make sure its trimmed.
The Big Day !
Give yourself enough time to prepare for the photo session .Check or do your hair, check your nails and makeup before you arrive. Please try to arrive on time, as the photographer will try to stick to the time slot that has been booked for you.Also, please bring your sitting fee, part of the fee will be credited towards your order; it will appear on the order invoice as a " Savings Coupon". If you have any questions feel free to ask, and get ready to shine, its your turn.
In Front of the Camera !
Relax, and most importantly Have Fun! We can take your official portrait for the composite in your gown, as well as casual and formal poses. Don't be afraid to give the photographer ideas and or questions if you have any. If some poses fee la little awkward, don't worry about it, trust your photographer .Enjoy the Photo session!
After the Session !
Your proofs and ordering information will be given to you minutes after your photo session.You can take them home right away and show them off to family and friends. We offer several easy ordering options and accept cheques, money orders, bank drafts and Visa / Mastercard over the phone and in person, we also accept Direct Payment [Interac] in our office.
